NIFTY50 failed to sustain its gain and is below 26300 for last 2 sessions. Index is again entering the consolidation phase of 25800 - 26300. NIFTY50 is expected to bounce from 26080 - 26000 levels in short term. Banks and Pharma look strong for near term. NIFTY50 holding above 26300 can bring more short covering and sector rotation buying in sectors and take the index towards 26800 - 27200 levels ahead of the Union Budget. Investors needs to continue adding quality stocks on declines.

* US: Stock indices in the US ended higher on Tuesday. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit record highs of 6948 points and 49509 points, respectively, as investors seemed to have shrugged off anxieties from the US attack on Venezuela.
* ASIA: Asian indices traded mixed as shares of defence companies in the region snap a two-day winning streak. Investors are also assessing the geopolitical risks pertaining to Venezuela and Greenland.
